The Countess Dracula was of unmatched beauty and decorated in glamorous jewels, but such beauty came at a cost. A blood cost. Legend has it, for the Countess to maintain her youthful beauty, she drained those young and pretty around her. A youth was said to receive a freshly cut dark rose before disappearing, a marker of The Countess’ next victim. Although the Countess has not been seen for centuries, the dead are never truly dead it seems. Her coffin is said to lie beneath a bed of roses, and when the dark roses bloom take it as a signal the Countess Dracula is still alive and well. Careful of the dark rose, should you be next! |
